Our doors can be configured to provide two-way or one way (exit only) controlled access. You can customize settings depending on the time of day, for example, offering standard automatic or manual operation during the day and security at night. You can select custom Dimensions—upto 21'- 0" O.D. with maximum heights from 7'-0" to 9'-6" depending on width. In addition, Orange offers a unprecedented safety feature of book-fold mechanism which can be operated quickly and easily for emergency exit purposes. You can select from several size options, canopy choices, and custom finishes.

The technology

Orange Revolving Doors can be integrated with a variety of activation devices-such as card readers, keypads, and sensors to enable controlled entry and exit Safety is provided by back pressure sensing and edge strip protection at the quarter posts. Security functions can be programmed to fit your custom needs. A 90 V.D.C. motor power drive unit in the door offers reliable and controlled rotation according to your security needs. A 12" or 18" minimum canopy height is required to house power units and security components.

Speed Control

The speed control is a smooth, precisionioned cast steel gear train mounted in the ceiling canopy or floor. It engages the brake automatically as speed approaches a set r.p.m and the brake shoes can be easily adjusted or replaced. The book-fold mechanism meets all safety requirements providing emergency escape.
